  1. Hi! Would it make sense to use it for a YouTube cooking channel? I am using 3 iPhone cameras amongst them one fixed. If I am turning around etc this seems to be the best option to have a steady good sound for my voice. BUT is it possible to sync the wave file with videos in Imovies??? Thank you very much.

  2. The foam is not going to magically cut out the wind noise from the trees and other rustling. The foam stops the wind blowing directly on the capsule / membrane and having constant plosive noise.

  3. Why did mfg's of smartphones eliminate the microphone jack and not give us 2 of their favorite USB or Lightning ports? It's handy to be able to use an external batt or charger while you use the mic jack. I stuck with LG phones because of this.

  4. Very strange that you used a 2ndary app to record audio instead of what 99% of people want which is to use it from the smart phone camera's app as most people will be recording videos. Good info though.
